Refund Policy

Refunds & Cancellations

This policy applies to payments made to Elkins Babe Ruth Baseball through this website or an authorized registration, store, ticketing, fundraising, raffle, or payment platform. Activity-specific terms shown at checkout or on a campaign page may provide additional rules.

League Registration

Registration refund requests must be submitted promptly through the Contact page. Before teams are formed or substantial league expenses are committed, Elkins Babe Ruth may approve a full or partial refund at its discretion. After team placement, uniforms are ordered, insurance or charter costs are paid, practices begin, or the season starts, registration payments may become partially or entirely nonrefundable.

Processing and Service Fees

Payment-processing fees, platform fees, service charges, convenience fees, shipping charges already incurred, and other third-party costs may be nonrefundable unless required by law or the applicable provider expressly returns them.

Raffles, Drawings, and Fundraisers

Raffle and drawing entries are generally final and nonrefundable once purchased or issued, except where required by law, the activity is canceled without a lawful replacement, or the official rules expressly provide otherwise. A participant's inability to attend an event does not ordinarily cancel a valid raffle entry. Donations and sponsorship payments are generally nonrefundable.

If an entry is voided because the entrant is ineligible, the payment failed, the transaction violated law or processor rules, or fraud or misuse is suspected, any refund will be handled according to the official rules, applicable law, and payment-provider requirements.

Events, Camps, Clinics, and Programs

If Elkins Babe Ruth cancels an entire paid event or program and does not offer a replacement, rescheduled date, credit, or comparable benefit, the league will determine an appropriate refund. Weather delays, schedule adjustments, venue changes, opponent changes, shortened seasons, or circumstances beyond the league's control do not automatically create a right to a refund.

Merchandise and Store Items

Custom, personalized, made-to-order, worn, washed, used, or clearance merchandise is generally nonreturnable unless defective or incorrect when delivered. Requests concerning damaged, defective, or incorrect items should be submitted promptly with the order information and photographs when available. Return shipping and original shipping charges may be nonrefundable.

Duplicate or Incorrect Charges

Suspected duplicate charges or incorrect transaction amounts should be reported promptly. We may request an order number, payer name, transaction date, amount, and supporting documentation so the payment can be reviewed with Panovents, BashTIX, Stripe, or the applicable provider.

Chargebacks

Please contact Elkins Babe Ruth before initiating a chargeback so the issue can be reviewed. Fraudulent or improper chargebacks may result in cancellation of registrations, orders, entries, or other benefits associated with the disputed payment.

How to Request a Refund

Submit a request through the Contact page and include the payer name, participant or purchaser name, email address used for the transaction, payment date, amount, order or confirmation number, and reason for the request. Approved refunds are generally returned to the original payment method and may take additional business days to appear.
